Traditional babool short gada (mace) ayudh for advanced strength training and traditional Indian wrestling exercises. It is single wood carved gada. This short Gada form is also called as the Devi Gada. The balance, weight distribution and grip slope are all as per the standard practice of Gada. The design helps in a better experience whether it is Sutru Alangaram practice or combat and sparring. The design provides strength at places of high stress making the gada last longer even after long usage for sparring. Babool wood is known for its density and durability, making this an excellent tool for building upper body strength and endurance. The wood we use is old, dried and won't loose weight or develop further checking. There may be some minor checks at places that will certainly not affect the practice and won't compromise with the longevity. It is normal for natural wood to have such artifacts, we make sure that you have great experience using it. The wood / bark of the Babool is well regarded in Ayurveda and regular usage of Babool Ayudh without paint/varnish on it helps us get some of those benefits too. Babool wood and bark are renowned in Ayurveda as a "Healing Tree" due to their powerful Kashaya (astringent) and antimicrobial properties. It is primarily used to: Heal Skin and Wounds: Applying bark powder or paste helps manage eczema, fungal infections, and minor burns by controlling bleeding and accelerating tissue repair. Support Digestion and Joint Strength: Bark decoctions treat diarrhea and intestinal worms, while its gum resin (Babul Gond) is used to strengthen bones and relieve arthritis pain.
