Jai Maa Bhavani! 🙏🏽🚩🔱
At the HSCL Durga Puja 2026 cultural programme in Visakhapatnam, our young warriors brought the living arts of Bharat to the stage. The children shared many wonderful performances, including Silambam solos, paired staff practice and a Bharatanatyam–Silambam fusion. The celebration also featured Mallakhamb, as the organiser remembers below.
The performances are an offering to Maa and a glimpse of what grows through steady practice: courage, attention, movement and the joy of learning together. We are proud of every child who stepped onto the stage and grateful to the families and organisers who made the celebration possible.

Here are two moments from the playlist:
Enjoy the mesmerising performances of Silambattam & Mallakhamb, the two traditional Indian martial arts, beautifully showcased by a group of little energetic children under the guidance of their coach, Sri Utkarsh, during our HSCL Durga Puja celebration-2026 cultural programme. 🇮🇳🙏🏽
Millions of salutations to Sri Utkarsh and his wonderful team of tiny toddlers and young warriors! 🙏🏽🌺 His dedication to reviving, preserving, and revitalising our ancient Indian martial arts is truly commendable. By nurturing these young talents, Sri Utkarsh & his team is keeping our rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions alive for generations to come.
May their courage, discipline, and dedication continue to inspire many more young minds to embrace our glorious Indian traditions.
Jai Maa Bhavani! 🙏🏽🚩🔱
We are grateful for these generous words and for the opportunity to share our practice with the community. To learn more about the art, visit our Silambam discussion and our Abhimanyu warrior-arts programme.
